Irish Dancing Dude, stage 2 & 3
Here's the 2nd step, blocking in color, lines on the trousers following the form of the leg, shirt sleeve pattern deliberately distorted to show wrinkle /fold
and stage 3 below, added flesh tones and shadows, some shading on the waistcoat and a little purple in the mix on the trousers. The cast shadow and low horizon serve to pop him off the ground, will probably blur his feet a little in the final rendition...

Irish Dancing Dude, stage 1
Following on from the last irish dancing / jig cartoon here is the pencil work for the next picture, this time a guy taking to the air. This was inspired by the recent TV show Jig: The Great Irish Dance Off that aired on BBC2 recently
